THROUGH-FEED CNC MACHINE KDT KN-612 NCHSD
KDT KN-612 NCHSD is an extremely productive through-feed machine designed for drilling, milling, and sawing. It features three independent drilling units that allow simultaneous machining of two workpieces, ensuring high productivity. Two drilling heads are positioned on the top and one on the bottom. The advantage of this machine is side drilling using two upper aggregates. The bottom drilling aggregate is compactly designed to take up minimal space, meaning the worktable opening is smaller and the workpiece gains more support during drilling, resulting in greater stability and machining precision.
The machine features a built-in grooving saw Ø120 mm designed for creating grooves for cabinet back panels.
An AI interface, larger drilling unit, and fixed angular head with four outlets provide advanced, precise, and powerful machining for better machine efficiency and shorter production times.
The KN-612 NCHSD is also equipped with four independent milling aggregates for grooving and cutting on all six sides. A new feature is the 6 kW milling motor with a fixed angular head and four outlets for side grooves on all four sides. An additional bottom fixed milling aggregate features a manual tool changer, meaning the machine includes two lower milling units for two different grooving tools. The main upper milling aggregate (5.5 kW) includes an automatic tool changer with six positions.
Machine operation is simple thanks to the industrial computer (Windows) and KDT DrillTop software. The machine is equipped with a barcode reader for barcode-based operation. It supports ONLINE service via TeamViewer, and programs can be created both on the machine and in the office. The package also includes a one-year LestrojBOX license for automatic furniture generation.
Double-sided independent clamps enable faster and more precise work. The clamp guide length of 5500 mm allows processing of long pieces without re-clamping. The air-floating infeed table makes it easier to move workpieces with delicate surfaces, while the cross transport system ejects the processed workpiece from the machine. The conveyor belt removes waste material.
The machine is easy to use, requires no mechanical adjustments, and thanks to the barcode system, no experienced operator is required.
